SHOUT OUT. THANK YOU ANIMALS.
Why are you even following me as well as the other guy who reblogged the somewhat same thing as you said? Yes,…
I follow you because I like your blog :)
I am a strong proponent of the fair and humane treatment of animals. Within those parameters, I find it completely humane to painlessly kill and then butcher them for their meat provided they have lived a life of free-range freedom in which they did not have to endure digesting hormones or foods outside of their natural diets. Animals are murdered by one another daily within the food chain, a chain that human beings as omnivores (naturally occurring omnivores with the digestive systems to process meat) are a part of.
So, if a cow, pig, duck, chicken, rabbit, squab, lamb etc. lives a life in happiness and is allowed to ingest a natural diet and grow to a substantial age before being painlessly killed, why shouldn’t I ingest it for the naturally occurring proteins, nutrients and fats (which my body needs in the forms that occur in living creatures. Forms of these proteins, amino acids and the like do not occur in their pure forms in substitutes for meat like legumes and vegetables) inside those animals.
Conversely, the food industry allows some horrid things to slip by the FDA. I avoid products that are not certified to be free of this inhumane treatment, and if all meat, fish, poultry and dairy was produced in this way, I would be a vegetarian. Luckily, plenty of food is readily available from sustainable, organic, certified free-range, grass-fed etc. mediums.
We’re another creature on this planet, it’s time for people to step down off of this elitest ideal of human beings as righteous creatures who shouldn’t harm animals. We are animals with a set place in the food chain, and what makes us awesome is that we have the capacity to raise animals in a natural environment and kill them painlessly, something the wild (a place where a wolf could rip a deer apart alive) does not allow them.
I love animals for what they are; another wonderful creature on our planet with their place within it. Below us, and after a long and fulfilling life, on my plate. Preferably with potatoes and a fresh vegetable seasoned in a bit of salt and pepper.

Breakfast: Tomato, onion and cheese omelet, canadian bacon, bacon bacon and biscuits.
Master of Breakfast Secret of the Day: Slow cook your bacon, it will render the fat out and then essentially confit the bacon in its own pool of awesome fat. Then reserve a thin layer of that fat and cook your eggs in it.
I’m the only person I know who would have an autographed copy of Setting the Table by Danny Meyer. Proud HRIM loser.

So…my roommate Jarrett, followed closely by my roommate Ian, just walked into my room and placed this down in front of me. Jarrett then said “Your dessert, sir, is a cinnamon dusted Tastycake Krimpet with Agave Nectar and lemon, to be used at your discretion. Enjoy.”
I then proceeded to tie a necktie around my neck and eat the entire thing in front of them, pausing occasionally to inquire about the dish, eventually passing my compliments on to the chef. Then they left, clearing the plate. Oh and the entire time, I was listening to Ambitionz Az a Ridah by 2Pac.
We have still yet to talk about this happening.
